The deputy ministers discussed issues related to security policy, specifically projects that are on the current agenda of the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy and cooperation in NATO. They also looked into the situation in the Middle East, particularly in the context of recent events in the Persian Gulf region. They also talked about actions undertaken as part of the Warsaw Process, which was initiated at the Warsaw Ministerial to Promote a Future of Peace and Security in the Middle East in February.
