About us
The Department of European Funds in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration is responsible for management of funds from European programs. There are two Units responsible for:
- European Home Affairs Funds Unit
- External Programms and Supervision Unit.
The employees are responsible for the management of European programmes and projects implementation.
In particular, they carry out the following tasks:
- activities in the field of European funds, in particular:
- Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2014-2020
- Internal Security Fund 2014-2020
- Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021-2027
- Internal Security Fund 2021-2027
- Border Management and Visa Policy Instrument 2021-2027
- „Home Affairs” Programme under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
- organizational and technical support for the Inter-Ministerial Team for European Internal Affairs Funds (Monitoring Committee);
- preparation of analysis and information on European funds for the Minister of the Interior and Administration;
- handling applications for funding from the reserves of the state budget for the projects co-financed from above mentioned European programs.
