28.10.2024The Minister of Interior and Administration's " Home Affairs " Programme implemented under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 enabled the implementation of projects and initiatives in the areas of: (i) improving the capacity of law enforcement agencies to prevent and detect combating crime, (ii) increasing prevention and preparedness for chemical, radiological, biological, nuclear and explosive threats in Poland and (iii) activities supporting the increase of the capacity of the national system in the area of asylum and migration. Projects and initiatives also enabled the establishment and strengthening of bilateral relations between entities from Poland and Norway that operate in the area of public security. The Programme Operator, in connection with the summary of activities implemented in the 3rd edition of the Norwegian Funds, presents a brochure with the most important information on the activities carried out to date.

23.10.2024On 23 October 2024, a conference summarizing the "Home Affairs" Programme implemented under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 was held in Warsaw. The honorary participants of the meeting were: Mr. Tomasz Siemoniak, Minister of the Interior and Administration, Mr. Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, Mr. Wiesław Szczepański, Secretary of State in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration – minister directly supervising the implementation of the Norway Grants in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, Mr. Konrad Wojnarowski – Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, which acts as the National Focal Point in Poland and coordinates the implementation of the Norway Grants and Mr. Øystein Bø, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Poland.
