Professor of economics Sławomir Bukowski, serving as Rector of the Kazimierz Pułaski University of Radom, was honored with the title of Professor Honoris Causa by the University of West Attica in Athens.
The ceremony of awarding the title took place on May 16, 2025 at the Acropolis Museum. During the ceremony, the significant scientific and didactic achievements of Professor Sławomir Bukowski, his contribution to the development of higher education, as well as his involvement in international activities and academic cooperation were emphasized. Professor Bukowski gave a lecture entitled "Economics - Science or Art?", which was met with interest by the audience.
