Poland in Greece

POLAGRA with its longest business tradition is one of the key-events of food industry and HoReCa in Poland. This year the event will take place on October 4-6 in Poznań.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Athens will participate in the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair, September 11-19, 2021. This year’s event is dedicated to Greece, with its central thematic axis being the Past, Present, and Future triptych, in the framework of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.

The Polish film "Corpus Christi, directed by Jan Komasa, nominated for the Oscar award in the category of best foreign language film, will be screened at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Ioannina on Monday, September 6, 2021, at 9:00 p.m., in the framework of the cultural cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Athens and the Cultural Center of Ioannina.

The major exhibition "All the King’s Tapestries: Homecomings 2021–1961–1921", which fills two floors of Wawel Royal Castle and is a once-in-a-lifetime event, is open to a visitors till the end of October.

Aware of its role in supporting international academic exchange, internationalization of universities and research institutions as well as dissemination of information about the Polish system of higher education and science, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA has launched a new platform, “Research in Poland”.

A delegation of Polish parliamentarians and local government officials from the Podlaskie Voivodeship visited Athens for several days. They participated in ceremonies related to the cult of Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn in Greece and held a series of meetings and talks with representatives of the Greek authorities.
