Poland in Greece

The exhibition entitled "Philhellenism and Polish Research in Prehistoric and Classical Archaeology in Greece" was opened at the Cast Museum of the Department of Archaeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, on 8 of February.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland took part in the 37th edition of the International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia in Thessaloniki, held on November 18-20, 2022.

On 11 November 1918 Poland regained its independence. This event occurred 123 years after the First Polish Republic had ceased to exist, a result of an arrangement between three powers, i.e, Russia, Prussia and Austria. During that time although Poland disappeared from the map of Europe, it never ceased to exist in the hearts of Poles.

As part of this year's edition of the festival, which will take place on November 3 to 13, two new Polish film productions will be shown: "Other People" and "Fools".
