Poland in Greece

For the first time in its 20-year history, the world's largest and most important event devoted to cities - the World Urban Forum (WUF) – is to take place in Central and Eastern Europe in Poland.

The 200th anniversary of the historic Battle of Peta was an occasion to commemorate the Polish Philhellenes who fought for the freedom of Greece in 1821-27.
