Polish "Cosmonauts" performed at Athens Jazz

At the 25th anniversary edition of the Athens Jazz festival, Poland was represented by the "Cosmonauts" quartet from Bielsko-Biała, one of the most exciting young bands on the Polish jazz scene.
The band, which performed on May 28th, conveyed its energy to the audience by skillfully redefining genre stereotypes, combining future jazz with elements of drum 'n' bass, hip-hop, and bold, youthful improvisation. The band consists of Miłosz Pieczonka (saxophone), Tymon Kosma (vibraphone), Bartłomiej Lucjan (bass guitar, Moog), and Jan Pieniążek (drums).
The concert took place at the iconic Technopolis City of Athens industrial complex, with the support of the Polish Embassy in Athens.
