Poland in Ireland

When on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania.

The Ambassador of Poland Anna Sochańska and the Ambassador of Lithuania Marijus Gutynas address all Poles and Lithuanians both in Ireland and worldwide on this special day.

The Embassy of Poland in Dublin opened its doors 30 years ago in 1991. In order to mark the Embassy’s anniversary, we have prepared this short celebratory video.

On March 23-25, 2021, a virtual event "Future Health Poland 2021" will take place, connecting Polish medical & healthcare technology supply chain.

Female leaders from Ireland and Poland exchanged their experiences as well as discussed different challenges faced by women in politics & business and offered their view on how to overcome them.

Thirty years ago, on 15 February 1991, the presidents of Poland and the Czech Republic, and the prime minister of Hungary signed the Declaration on Cooperation between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary in Striving for European Integration in the castle of Visegrad, Hungary.

In this super-cute production, a group of 23 Polish kids living in various parts of Ireland have set out on a mission to tell their Irish friends how awesome Polish Christmas is! They even attempt to sing a traditional Polish Christmas carol for them!
