This is probably the first association, but ... our relationship is much broader and much deeper, especially today! From September 18th to October 18th, 2020, the Israeli authorities introduced a nation-wide lockdown (movement limited to 1000 m from the place of residence; closure of offices, schools and other institutions/facilities/retail and service outlets hosting customers/clients). These measures were introduced with the aim of limiting the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. (last update: October 14th, 2020)

On 31 August, we solemnly celebrate the 40th anniversary of the signing of the August Agreements and the establishment of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union “Solidarity”, which contributed to the collapse of communism and an end to the world’s cold war division.

On 15 August 2020 we solemnly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw – a culminating point of the Polish-Soviet War (1919-1920) and one of the most decisive events in the history of Poland, Europe, and the world.
