Poland in Kuwait

Numerous guests from Kuwaiti partner institutions, the diplomatic corps, and the Polish community attended the reception. The celebration included a performance of classical music by Polish artists. The guests also the had opportunity to taste traditional Polish delicacies such as pierogi (dumplings) and faworki (angel wings).

The Guest of Honor of the event was Kuwait’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The Undersecretary at Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense and many other distinguished guests were also present.

The reception was an opportunity to emphasize the friendly nature of Polish-Kuwaiti relations. A unique circumstance of this year's celebration was that Poland and Kuwait are simultaneously holding the presidencies in key regional organizations for them – the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
