Poland in Kuwait

On December 14th, the Embassy hosted a cooking show of exquisite Polish desserts prepared by Paweł Wątor, the chef at the Eliksir restaurant in Gdańsk.

On December 9th, the Embassy hosted a St. Nicholas Day gathering for the children attending the Polish School in Kuwait.

On December 7th, a Christmas meeting of the Polish community and Christmas for children took place in Manama.

On November 16, the National Library in Kuwait hosted the exhibition "Layers of Time," which presented the discoveries of the Kuwaiti-Polish Archaeological Mission-a joint project of the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL) and the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archeology (PCMA) at University of Warsaw.

On November the 10th, the Embassy organized a meeting to mark National Independence Day and an exhibition of artistic works by students of the Polish School in Kuwait.

MFA Secretary of State Władysław T. Bartoszewski visited Kuwait from October 4-6, where he represented Poland at the 29th meeting of the European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Joint Council and the 2nd meeting of the EU-GCC High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation.

Ambassador Michał Cholewa presented his credentials to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The ceremony took place on September 16 at the Bayan Palace.
