Poland in Kuwait

The security of Polish citizens in the Middle East and the political and economic effects of the conflict in the Persian Gulf were the main topics of a phone conversation between the heads of diplomacy of Poland and the Kingdom of Bahrain - Radosław Sikorski and Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski held a phone call with the State of Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

On December 14th, the Embassy hosted a cooking show of exquisite Polish desserts prepared by Paweł Wątor, the chef at the Eliksir restaurant in Gdańsk.

On December 9th, the Embassy hosted a St. Nicholas Day gathering for the children attending the Polish School in Kuwait.

On December 7th, a Christmas meeting of the Polish community and Christmas for children took place in Manama.

On November 16, the National Library in Kuwait hosted the exhibition "Layers of Time," which presented the discoveries of the Kuwaiti-Polish Archaeological Mission-a joint project of the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL) and the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archeology (PCMA) at University of Warsaw.
