Deputy Minister Bartoszewski visited Kuwait

MFA Secretary of State Władysław T. Bartoszewski visited Kuwait from October 4-6, where he represented Poland at the 29th meeting of the European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Joint Council and the 2nd meeting of the EU-GCC High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation.
The meetings brought together the heads and deputy heads of diplomacy of the European Union member states and the Gulf Cooperation Council. The Council brings together Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
On the sidelines of the event, Deputy Minister Bartoszewski held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the Gulf states: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
The Secretary of State also visited the Thekra Museum and Memorial, which tells the story of the liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi occupation in 1991 and commemorates Poland's contribution in this operation. On Kuwaiti "Teachers' Day," October 5, the Deputy Minister traveled to the Polish School in Kuwait, where he met with the teaching staff and children attending classes that day.
