Tender Notice – Sale of a Vehicle

The State Treasury – Administrative Department of the Ministry of National Defence hereby announces the sale, by way of a public tender, of a passenger vehicle HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0 GLS, located at the premises of the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Poland in Malaysia (Embassy of the Republic of Poland); No. 10 Lorong Damai 9, 55000 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

1. NAME OF THE SELLER

The State Treasury – represented by Mr. Sławomir Pączek, Director of the Administrative Department of the Ministry of National Defence, on whose behalf acts the authorised representative Colonel Jacek Buratyński – Defence Attaché at the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Poland in Malaysia; No. 10 Lorong Damai 9, 55000 Kuala Lumpur, e-mail: kualalumpur@mon.gov.pl, telephone: +60 125 123 587.

2. PLACE AND DATE OF THE TENDER

Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur; 22 May 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

3. TYPE, CATEGORY AND QUANTITY OF MOVABLE PROPERTY FOR SALE

The subject of the tender is a passenger vehicle HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0 GLS, year of manufacture 2012.

4. PLACE AND TIME FOR INSPECTION

The vehicle may be inspected at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur on working days from 06 May 2026 to 20 May 2026 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., by prior telephone arrangement with the Defence Attaché Office at +60 125 123 587 or via e-mail at kualalumpur@mon.gov.pl.

The notification must include the full name and identity document details of the person intending to inspect the vehicle.

5. STARTING PRICE

Starting price: 10,000 MYR (ten thousand ringgit).

The buyer is obliged to cover all costs related to re-registration, taxes, customs duties, excise duties, and any other costs required under local law or the law of the country to which the vehicle will be transferred.

The sale price does not include third-party liability insurance (OC) of the current owner.

6. BID DEPOSIT (WADIUM)

Participation requires payment of a deposit equal to 10% of the starting price, i.e. 1,000 MYR (one thousand ringgit).

The deposit must be paid no later than 21 May 2026 by 2:00 p.m. local time in cash at the Embassy.

Payment title: “Deposit – HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0 GLS”.

Failure to pay the deposit results in automatic rejection of the offer.

The deposit will be returned within 7 days to unsuccessful bidders.

The deposit of the winning bidder will be credited towards the purchase price.

The deposit is non-refundable if:

• no bid meets the starting price;
• the winning bidder withdraws from signing the contract or fails to pay within 5 working days.

7. PREPARATION OF THE OFFER

The offer must be submitted in writing using Annex No. 1 and include:

• full name/company name, address, and contact details;
• offered price (not lower than the starting price), in figures and words, and payment method;
• statement confirming inspection or acceptance of consequences of not inspecting;
• statement: “In the event of purchasing the vehicle, I undertake to pay all required customs duties, excise duties and taxes in accordance with Malaysian law (unless exempt under applicable regulations)” – Annex No. 2;

The offer must include proof of deposit payment.

8. SUBMISSION OF OFFERS

Offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: “Tender HYUNDAI SONATA 2.0 GLS – do not open” to the Embassy in Kuala Lumpur no later than 21 May 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Offers are binding for 18 days.

The organiser reserves the right to cancel the tender without selecting a winner.

9. OPENING AND SELECTION

Opening of offers: 22 May 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

The tender is valid with at least one offer.

Attendance is not mandatory.

The highest price wins.

In case of equal bids, an auction will be conducted.

10. REJECTION OF OFFERS

An offer will be rejected if:

• submitted late, in the wrong place, or without deposit;
• incomplete, illegible, or raising doubts.

11. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Individuals must:

• present ID and proof of deposit;
• sign a statement acknowledging the legal and factual status of the vehicle.

Legal entities must present authorisation and a current registry extract.

12. CONTRACT AND HANDOVER

The sale agreement will be signed within 5 working days.

Payment must be made no later than the signing date.

The vehicle will be handed over after payment and approval of the tender protocol by the Ministry of National Defence.

Transport is the buyer’s responsibility.

All taxes, duties, and fees are borne by the buyer.

The seller is not liable for hidden defects.

The vehicle is sold “as is”, without any warranty.
