Consultations

In accordance with Article 50e, Section 5, Point 9 of the Act of 12 June 2015 on the Greenhouse Gas Emission Allowance Trading System, which serves as the primary legal act governing the operation of the Modernisation Fund in Poland, the National Operator of the Modernisation Fund is obliged to conduct public consultations.

Public consultations primarily involve presenting the assumptions of proposed schemes to industry representatives, organizations, associations bringing together representatives of a given sector, and potential schemes beneficiaries. Depending on the specifics of a given scheme, consultations may include sharing draft scheme for comments, organizing meetings and webinars, as well as publishing the draft on the website dedicated to the Modernisation Fund.
