“We will not allow the border to be forced by immigrants, we will not allow a migration crisis to arise. The border of our countries is also the border of the European Union. We are in solidarity with each other. We are focused on the protection of that border, these are the efforts made by Poland. The format of the Visegrad Group countries is a format that we appreciate” - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defence during the meeting in Hungary.

“The Abrams tank factory is well prepared for production. It has large production capacity. This modern tank has the necessary abilities for the soldiers of the Polish Army to have an advantage over the soldiers of the aggressor in a conflict situation. We purchase tanks to deter the aggressor, so that the aggressor knows that the Polish Army has a weapon that is a real and effective ” - said Minister Mariusz Błaszczak.

“This place we are in is a remarkable. There is a piece of Polish land in the United States. There are graves of Polish soldiers, there are graves of US citizens who have always admitted their Polish identity, who emphasized their Polish roots, ”said Minister Mariusz Błaszczak during his stay in Doylestown.

“We assume that the deliveries will be made at the scheduled time - the Patriots will be delivered to our country by the end of next year. We are preparing the infrastructure, and soldiers will be trained to use these weapons. “The conversation was concrete. We talked about cooperation, about strengthening Polish-American relations, about equipping the Polish Army with modern equipment. I can say that from the point of view of the United States Secretary of Defence, equipping the Polish Army with Abrams tanks is absolutely justified, as it builds interoperability between American and Polish forces. At the end of this month, the Secretary of the U.S. Army will come to Poland. We will discuss the details. Everything indicates that the first Abrams tanks will be used by the Polish Army next year ” - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence after the meeting with the United States Secretary of Defence.

“I believe here in Warsaw we have good venue to discuss important issues related to the Alliance security, in our region and beyond. This can be considered as one of conceptual contributions from the region to the current debate, esp. among NATO Allies, about how to make our deterrence and defence, and our resilience against the key threats, more solid” - Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence, said in his speech opening this year's defence panel of the Warsaw Security Forum conference.

“I want to thank the Italians for cooperation with Poland, both in the NATO, European Union and United Nations formats. Today we cooperate in the field of military exercises and the arms industry (…)For us, the first challenge is NATO's eastern flank, but the Polish Army is also present on the southern flank, and due to its geographical location, it is Italy that particularly deals with threats from the south. “The technical modernization of the Polish Army is one of the most important tasks that I have set for myself when I took over the office of the Minister of National Defence. In many areas, our armed forces used outdated equipment that still remembered the times of the Warsaw Pact, and was otherwise not adapted to the security challenges faced today. Currently, after 6 years of the rule of Law and Justice party, we can say that the Polish Army is better equipped and meets the requirements of the modern battlefield. This is the result of our hard work, commitment of many people and consistency in action. " - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence, during the defence industry conference.

“During the conversation, we raised security issues. Both our countries are suffering from hybrid attacks by the Belarusian side. Both our countries are cooperating with each other when it comes to countermeasures, when it comes to building resistance to these attacks. We exchanged experiences related to sealing the border, both - Polish and the Lithuanian-Belarusian border, "said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence after the meeting with the head of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence.

“Indeed, it is so that only a conscious and well-informed society can be resistant to disinformation, it can be resistant to fake news, it can be resistant to all the threats that are real in today's world. In the 21st century, disinformation is a weapon - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defence during the conference "Information Independence".
