- The "Justice Sword 21" exercise is a readiness test for our soldiers. Polish-Romanian military exercises allow us to ensure the security of our countries, but also security on the eastern and southern flank of the North Atlantic Alliance - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of Polish National Defense during the international exercise at the training ground in Romania.

- I had the opportunity to talk with the Romanian Minister of Defense. I am grateful for being able to share my comments and thoughts. Thank you for the conversation that meets our expectations. Our friendly relations date back a long time (...) Our cooperation is very close - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Polish Minister of National Defense during the meeting with the Romanian Minister of Defense.

- During the meeting we discussed the EU security issues. In one of the sessions, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg focused the discussions on the EU - NATO relations. I am very glad that the view Poland consistently presents, that the EU should not compete with the Alliance, is the view shared by the majority, said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense.

"Representing Polish Armed Forces abroad is both an honor and a responsibility. I know that you are well prepared for the tasks awaiting for you. You have repeatedly confirmed your professionalism, excellent training and high efficiency in action" - wrote Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense in a letter to the soldiers of the first rotation of Polish Military Contingent in Turkey.

- The Forward Command of the V Corps is in Poznań and has already started its activities. I am very glad that, according to the proposal of the American side, Polish general will be appointed to the position of the deputy commander in the Fort Knox, therefore in the command of the V Corps. It will be major general Adam Joks. Our cooperation proves very strong Polish-American relations in the defense domain - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defense after the meeting with lieutenant general John Kolasheski, the commander of the V US Army Corps.

- Today I visited the Multinational Division Headquarters in Székesfehérvár. In the nearest future, Polish officers will be serving in this Headquarters - this is an extremely important form of cooperation, even if considering that yesterday we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the V4. There are many of these forms. We cooperate very closely, we share our experiences, and this all serves the security of our countries - stated Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense after the meeting with Tibor Benkő, the head of the Hungarian Ministry of Defense.

Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defense and Lloyd Austin, the US secretary of defense confirmed the development of the intense military cooperation. On Thursday, February 11, during a telephone conversation, the head of the Pentagon assured that US defense cooperation with Poland would be maintained at a very high level. Warsaw and Washington will jointly strengthen and develop the deterrence and defense potential of Poland and the entire eastern flank of NATO.

- Less than two weeks ago, President Andrzej Duda ratified the agreement on enhanced military cooperation between the United States and Poland. Today we witness this agreement entering into force. We are watching the implementation of the provisions of this agreement. Our joint Polish-American activities serve the security of our Homeland, serve the security of the countries united by the North-Atlantic alliance - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense in Poznań.

- Today's ceremony shows how close the military cooperation between the Polish army, the army of the Republic of Lithuania and the army of Ukraine is - this cooperation occurs every day. The soldiers of the Polish, Lithuanian and Ukrainian Armed Forces train, improve their skills and cooperate with each other on a daily basis - said Mariusz Błaszczak, the Minister of National Defense during his visit to the multinational brigade in Lublin.

As of the end of September the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade will conduct a series of trainings and exercises as part of the NATO Response Force (NRF). The movement of soldiers and equipment will be visible on Polish roads.
