- Thank you to all who participated in the Anaconda 18 exercise - to soldiers from Poland, but also to soldiers of the North Atlantic Alliance. Thank you for your shared tasks, not only during exercises, but every day, both under eFP and as part of our daily cooperation. Thanks to this service the nations of our countries can feel safe - said Mariusz Błaszczak during a meeting with soldiers in Elbląg.

Strengthening of combat potential and improvement of operational capabilities, including priority treatment of the north-east flank by, among others, acceleration of the formation of the 18th Mechanized Division, increase in the completion of the 16th Division and reconstruction of the anti-tank regiment in Suwałki - these are the main assumptions of the Armed Forces Development Program for years 2017-2026. The regulation establishing the Program was signed today by Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak.

Transformation of national and allied information systems, cooperation in cybersecurity and joint training - these are the main topics of conversation between Tomasz Zdzikot, secretary of state in the National Defense Ministry and Kevin J. Scheid, Director General of the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency).

- NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg admitted that the increased presence of American troops in Poland, on the eastern flank strengthens the defense capabilities of the North Atlantic Alliance - said in Brussels Mariusz Błaszczak, the minister of national defense.

- We talked about the Fort Trump project - about the US base in Poland. We want the US military stationed in Poland to ensure the security of Poland and the entire eastern flank of NATO - said Mariusz Błaszczak, Defense Minister after meeting with John Bolton, adviser to President Donald Trump on national security.
