Wiesław Łodzikowski
Deputy Director for Development and Communication
Deputy Director of the National Institute of Telecommunications, manager and expert in the fields of telecommunications, critical infrastructure, and information technologies, with many years of experience in the implementation and commercialization of projects of strategic importance.
At the National Institute of Telecommunications, he is responsible for strategic cooperation with key public and private partners, and above all for leveraging the Institute’s research and implementation potential in large-scale infrastructure and technological projects for central and local government administration as well as for business. Previously, he served at NIT as the Director’s Plenipotentiary for Strategic Projects.
He specializes in the design and deployment of comprehensive solutions in the areas of modern telecommunications networks (including private 5G networks), mission-critical communications, infrastructure resilience, cybersecurity, and crisis management support systems, among others within the InfraShield360 concept.
Previously, he was associated, among others, with the ORLEN Group, ENERGA, NASK, and Polish Television (TVP), where he was responsible for technology strategy, infrastructure security, management of large IT and telecommunications projects, and cooperation with public administration and the industrial sector.
In his professional activity, he focuses on the long-term strengthening of the position of the National Institute of Telecommunications as a trusted technological partner in projects of key importance to the state and the economy.
On 22 January 2026, he was appointed Deputy Director of the National Institute of Telecommunications by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski.
