For 230 days now, Ukraine has been fighting a heroic war against the barbaric invasion of Russia, struggling to defend its freedom and independence and thus protect the freedom and independence of the entire democratic European community. To express once again our support for the Ukrainian state and society in this tragic times, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo @PLinNorway has cooperated with Ukrainian artist Nikita "Slam". On the exterior wall of the Embassy Nikita has created a graffiti, symbolically reminding us of the atrocities of the ongoing war and expressing Polish-Ukrainian solidarity. The inauguration of the 9th edition of the Polish Film Days (Polske Filmdager) took place in the foyer of the Fredrikstad cinema on October 9. The festival was launched with the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Bruno Schulz 1892 - 1942" from the collection of the Museum of Literature in Warsaw which was done by Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Kingdom of Norway I. Woicka-Zulawska

Events related to the 9th edition of Polish Film Days (Polska Filmdager) will take place in Fredrikstad (9-16 of October) and in Oslo (22 of October).

September 19, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland I. Woicka-Żuławska and charge d'affairs of the Embassy of Ukraine L. Honcharevych officially opened the exhibition "Mom, I don't want war".

September 18, the 4th edition of of Contemporary Polish Arts&Culture Festival We Do was completed with a concert of Coals - Polish group from Silesia in Hoymagasinet in Oslo. The Festival was organized in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Oslo. One of the main sponsors of the Festival was PGNiG Upstream Norway.

September 11, an extraordinary concert of Kroke - Polish klezmer music band took place at Cosmopolite Scene in Oslo.

On 1 September 2022, to mark the 83th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, representatives of the Polish Embassy in Oslo: Ambassador Iwona Woicka-Żuławska, Defence Attaché Col Waldemar Torbicki, and Consul Agnieszka Kucińska-Spyrka laid a wreath at the Polish war grave at the Vestre Gravlund cemetery in Oslo to honour Polish soldiers who died during World War II.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland together with the Cosmopolite Scene in Oslo and PGNiG Upstream Norway would like to invite for the concert of Kroke – a famous Polish klezmer band on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its activity. The concert will take place on the 11th of September 2022 at 20.00 in Cosmopolite Scene in Oslo. The doors will be open from 19:00.

On August 23-24, Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, paid a visit to the Kingdom of Norway. During his visit, the Minister met with Eivind Vad Petterson, Secretary of State at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thomas Boe Hornburg Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Norway, and Ingjerd Schou, a member of the Conservative Party in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Storting and a member of the Polish-Norwegian friendship group.

On August 22, Polish diary "Rzeczpospolita" has published article of Zbigniew Rau - minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Poland dedicated to the importance of principles of freedom and equality of nations as the defense against the threat of imperialism but also for the proper functioning of the European Union.
