The Polish Minister of Climate and Environment Anna Moskwa and the Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Norway Terje Aasland met in Oslo on 6 July 2022. They discussed current challenges within energy security and the potential for further bilateral energy cooperation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign language publication promoting the history of Poland.

"TASTE OF EUROPE: Food and Film Festival" is taking place from June 11th to 22nd in Oslo! The event is organized by EUNIC, a European network of organisations engaging in cultural relations from all EU Member States and striving for a dialogue in the pursuit of trust and a peaceful global order. Main focus of the Festival is putting on art and food.

Official celebrations of the 82nd anniversary of the Battle of Narvik took place on May 30. During the celebrations flowers were laid at the monument "ORP Grom", the French and Norwegian monuments at Veteran's Square in Narvik and the Polish and British monuments at Forneset / Grindjord. Ceremonies were held also at the cemeteries in Narvik and Håkvik.

On May 12, on the premises of Peace Research Institute in Oslo has taken place seminar inspired by and co-organized by the Polish Embassy in Oslo together with the Secretariat of the Council of the Baltic Sea States in Stockholm and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Norway's presidency in the CBSS) on the security challenges related to the influx of refugees from Ukraine (human trafficking, sexual exploitation, abuses on the labor market).

On May 9 - on the occasion of Europe Day - EUNIC Norway has organized at the Goethe Institute in Oslo evening with recitation of anti-war poetry.

Kindly be invited to this panel discussing measures to prevent human trafficking in the context of the war in Ukraine, between volunteers’ crucial assistance and governments’ measures to control and gain oversight, hosted by PRIO and co-organized with the Polish Embassy in Norway.

May 6, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo together with the Embassy of Lithuania and the Embassy of Ukraine celebrated the Day of Constitution of 3 of May.

April 19, on the 79th anniversary of the outbreak of the #WarsawGhettoUprising the Ambassadors of the Republic of Poland and the State of Israel in the Kingdom of Norway, Iwona Woicka-Żuławska and Alon Roth, laid flowers at the monument commemorating the deportation of Jews from Norway during World War II in Oslo. #WeRemember
