March 28, at the Norwegian Holocaust Center in Oslo took place J. Fairweather's lecture dedicated to the promotion of the Norwegian edition of his book "Volunteer. The true story of Witold Pilecki's secret mission ”.

March 10, Krzysztof Kieślowski's film Blind Chance (1987) was screened at the Vega Scene in Oslo. The screening of the movie was preceded by lecture of Peter Jansson - outstanding expert of Kieślowski's work - dedicated to the influence of the Polish director on the development of world cinematography and the groundbreaking importance of " Blind Chance" for further artistic development of Kieślowski.

March 8, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki paid a visit to Oslo.

February 28, on the occasion of the 212nd anniversary of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo together with the Norwegian Academy of Music organized a concert.

After Russian aggression against Ukraine, Poland gives its full support to the people who are fleeing Ukraine through the Polish-Ukrainian land border. All the people fleeing Ukraine regardless of their nationality or country of origin are welcomed in Poland.

26.02. Ambassador I. Woicka-Żuławska, together with the representatives of the Polish Embassy in Oslo and the Ambassadors of Ukraine, Great Britain, Ireland, and Deputy Ambassadors of the United States and Estonia in Norway, took part in a demonstration against Russia's aggression on Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland firmly condemns the decision of president Vladimir Putin on the recognition by the Russian Federation of two self-proclaimed republics situated on the territory of Ukraine – the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” and “Luhansk People’s Republic”. It amounts de facto to Russian side’s rejection of the Minsk agreements, to which Russian Federation is part. This aggressive step is yet another violation of International Law by Russia. The decision taken by the Russian president undermines Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty in an evident and unquestionable manner.

Today, Poland has started its one-year Chairmanship at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Thus, our country is assuming a greater role in shaping security and stabilisation on the European continent in the spirit of the Helsinki Final Act, whose 50th anniversary we will be celebrating in 2025.
