Female Ambassadors Oslo present the project "The Art of Christmas". Ambassadors from Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Saudi Arabia and Palestine accredited in the Kingdom of Norway in a joint project present the traditions of the Christmas / New Year period typical for the countries they represent. The description of the traditions is accompanied by reproductions of national works of art related to this festive period.

11 of November, on the occasion of National Independence Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo issued at Konserthus the official reception for Norwegian partners, Polish diaspora and diplomatic corpse. The reception was accompanied by the fashion show INDEPENDENT prepared by Fashion Institute of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź.

Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Poles, 11 November marks the 103rd anniversary of Poland regaining independence. It is a day proudly celebrated by Poles around the world. Independence is the supreme value which past generations of Poles fought for. Today, it is something to be cherished and constantly strengthened, because we know the price that was paid all too well.

The 8th edition of Polish Film Days in Norway (Polska Filmdager) has been ended with the international premiere of the Polish-Scandinavian jazz music project - Voices from the Green Planet. The concert has taken place 22nd of October at the Cosmopolite Scene in Oslo.

On 7th and 8th October, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Norway, Iwona Woicka-Żuławska, visited Stavanger.

In a special spot presented on the 172th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's death, Secretary of State Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk plays the waltz in D flat major Op. 64, speaks about the links between the composer and diplomacy and encourages to follow the final stage of Chopin Competition.

As the world is slowly recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is entering an era of uncertainty. Faced with new threats and challenges, we need a fresh perspective on geopolitical realities. It is the strength of national economies that will ultimately ensure citizens’ security.

10th of October official opening of 8th edition of Polish Film Days (Polske Filmdager) has taken place in Fredrikstad. The inauguration was connected with the opening the exhibition of Daniel Mróz' illustrations to Stanisław Lem's texts entitled "Lem's bestiary according to Mróz".

The judgement of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland of 7 October reaffirmed the hierarchy of the sources of law binding in Poland and in the European Union. The first place in this hierarchy is always reserved for national constitutions of EU member states. EU treaties, as acts of international law, have priority over domestic law of a statutory rank, but they cannot precede constitutions.
