01.09.2024På årsdagen av utbruddet, 1. september 2024, har representanter for Republikken Polens Ambassade: chargé d’affaires Tomasz Orłowski, attaché oberst Waldemar Torbicki og konsul Marcin Spyrka lagt ned kransen på polske flygerne- og Cichociemnis grav for å markere polske soldater som mistet livet under 2. verdenskrigen.

23.08.2024Poland’s Honorary Consulate in Rjukan was officially opened on 21 August 2024. The office is headed by Honorary Consul Per Lykke. The consulate was opened by Chargé d’affaires a.i. Tomasz Orłowski, governor of Vestfold and Telemark Fred-Ivar Syrstad, mayor of Tinn Kathrine Haatvedt, and deputy governor of Telemark Terje Riis-Johansen.

15.08.2024August 15, on the occasion of the Polish Armed Forces Day, a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo, consisting of the military attache of the Republic of Poland, W. Torbicki, Counselor-Minister G. Szopiński, and Consul A. Jach, and the Director of the Polish School affiliated by the Embassy I. Prokop laid flowers at the monument to the Polish Pilots and the Silent Unseen at the Vestre Gravlund Cemetery in Oslo.

01.08.2024On July 24-August 1. another edition of the Music and Art Festival (K&M Fest) took place in Stavanger. Poland was represented at the Festival by opera singer Kornelia Szczypka and violinist Adam Suska. The festival was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo.

Waldemar Torbicki and Head of Consular Section in the Embassy, Consul Agnieszka Kucińska-Spyrka - visited memorial sites of the Polish Armed Forces in Narvik and the surrounding area.
