Polen i Norge

15. august 2023 i anledning de polske væpnede styrkers dag, ved den polske flygerne- og Cichociemnis graven, har vi markert soldatene som falt under Slaget ved Warszawa i 1920.

1. august 1944 startet oppstanden - opprøret blant polske patrioter mot den tyske okkupanten. Oppstanden i Warszawa var fylt med den heroiske kampen til de ensomme som sto sammen mot den tyske hæren. Rundt 50 000 opprørere ble med i kampen i Polens hovedstad. Selv om opprøret ble planlagt bare for noen få dager, varte det i over to måneder.

25th of June, artists from Romania, Poland and Ukraine performed during the last day of the Roseslottet Cultural Festival 2023. Poland was represented by the Polish-Norwegian vocal ensemble Sang Over Grenser/Śpiewanie bez Granic and Natalia Samborska.

13 of June, Cinemateket Oslo, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, organised an official screening of "EO'' - movie directed by Jerzy Skolimowski.

From 6th to 8th of June 2023, representatives of Polish companies - Orlen Group, Gaz System, Polenergia, PESA, Torpol Oil&Gas and the Energy Institute - has been in Norway on a hydrogen mission.

From 31 May to 1, Zbigniew Rau, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland paid a visit in Norway on the occasion of the informal meeting of foreign ministers of NATO.

On May 3rd on the occasion of the 232th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May 1791, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo organised the concert of the Norwegian Academy of Music students titled “Polish and Norwegian Musical Inspirations” jointly with Norwegian Academy of Music, Polish Tourism Organisation in Stockholm, Małopolska Tourism Organisation and Małopolska Region.
