Negotiations on an agreement on mutual assistance in criminal matters

February 23-25 representatives from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland and the Department of Justice - Philippines successfully conducted the second round of negotiations for a bilateral Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters (MLAT).
At the conclusion of the three-day session, Director Wojciech Deptuła and Chief State Counsel Dennis Arvin L. Chan jointly initialed the agreed text of the treaty. The ceremony was attended by Katarzyna Wilkowiecka, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of Poland in the Philippines.
