Poland in Qatar

Opportunities for bilateral development & humanitarian cooperation and Qatar Fund for Development activities in Central and Eastern Europe were discussed during the meeting between Ambassador Tomasz Sadzinski and Director General Fahad Hamad Al Sulaiti held on 7 June 2026.

The Ambassador expressed particular gratitude for the Fund’s engagement in assisting Ukrainian refugees in Poland in recent years as well as its commitment to humanitarian projects in Ukraine, fulfilling the generous pledge by HE Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, to allocate 100 mln USD to the Ukrainian people suffering from the violent consequences of the Russian aggression.
