On 22 April 2025, the head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Qatar, Tomasz Sadzinski, met with the CEO of Qatar Development Bank, Abdulrahman Hesham Al Sowaidi.

The conversation focused on the role of the QDB as an institution supporting the development of the private sector and innovative projects in Qatar. Also discussed was the potential for cooperation with the Polish Development Fund and Polish companies in terms of joint investment initiatives and the creation of a favourable environment for development of entrepreneurship. Both sides confirmed their readiness to strengthen economic relations.
