Poland in Qatar

On 7 January 2026, Ambassador Tomasz Sadzinski held a meeting with Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Polish–Qatari economic cooperation, including opportunities to further intensify trade and investment exchange. The Head of the Polish diplomatic mission highlighted the strong growth potential in this area, noting in particular that trade turnover, which reached USD 4.7 billion on the Qatari side in 2024, as well as the growing interest of Polish companies in expanding their presence on regional markets.

The discussion also addressed the development of institutional cooperation and collaboration between economic self-government bodies of both countries. Ambassador Sadzinski presented information on the course and outcomes of the Polish–Qatari Investment Forum, organized by the Embassy in November 2025 in Doha, in cooperation with Invest Qatar and the Qatar Businessmen Association.

Both sides expressed their interest in continuing the dialogue and in the participation of Qatari partners in economic events organized in Poland.
