Meeting at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs
On 9th February Mr Tomasz Sadziński, Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha, met with Ambassador Fahad Mohammed Kafoud, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The discussion focused on the development of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, security, and defense matters. The Qatari counterparts were also presented with the priorities of the Polish Presidency and related initiatives undertaken by the Embassy in the first half of 2025. Plans for organizing Polish-Qatari political consultations were discussed, as well as the involvement of Polish delegations in key events, particularly the Web Summit Qatar at the end of February and Qatar Economic Forum in May. A review of the bilateral treaty framework was conducted, and actions were agreed upon on its further development.
