Poland in Qatar

On 22 September 2025, Mr. Tomasz Sadziński, Head of the Diplomatic Mission, held a meeting with the Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Ambassador Fahad Mohammed Yousef Kafoud.

The interlocutors discussed the current security situation in Poland and in the region of Central and Eastern Europe in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, as well as Qatar’s actions in response to the Israeli attack on Qatar on 9 September 2025. At the same time, the meeting served as an opportunity to broadly discuss aspects of bilateral cooperation and the undertakings planned by the Mission in the near future. Issues of legal and treaty-related matters were also raised, as well as plans for organizing Polish-Qatari political consultations.
