On 14 December, the Embassy organized a meeting with officers of the Qatari Coast Guard who graduated from the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia. The meeting was held in a friendly and open atmosphere. Ambassador Tomasz Sadziński congratulated the Qatari participants on graduating from such a prestigious institution, acknowledged their contribution to the development of Polish–Qatari cooperation, and praised their commitment and professionalism in their daily service. At the same time, he extended his best wishes for prosperity and continued success in the performance of their duties on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar, celebrated on 18 December.

The initiative was a follow-up to the arrangements made during a meeting between the Head of the Mission and Major General Nasser Jabr Al Nuaimi (NJN), Director General for Coastal and Border Security at the Qatari Ministry of Interior, held on 28 October this year.

The Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia has been educating Qatari cadets since 2015 in a four-year study program. To date, 37 Qatari nationals have graduated from the Academy.
