Poland in Qatar

On 6 November 2025, Ambassador Tomasz Sadziński hosted an eight-member delegation of Polish students affiliated with the Forum of Young Diplomats, who were staying in Qatar in connection with their participation in the Second UN Global Social Summit (4–6 November).

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for guests to learn about the specifics of the work of the Polish diplomatic mission and to discuss issues related to the political, social, and economic situation in the Gulf region. During the meeting, the main areas of the Embassy’s activities were presented, including its work on bilateral relations, economic cooperation, the promotion of Poland, and support for Poles residing in Qatar. The discussion also addressed the key challenges and priorities of Poland’s diplomacy in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on Qatar’s role as an important partner in regional dialogue and international mediation.

The Polish students shared their impressions from the summit, highlighting issues related to the social engagement of young leaders, intercultural dialogue, and the importance of international cooperation in responding to global challenges. The participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views. The discussion also covered topics such as regional security, the dynamics of relations among Gulf countries, and prospects for multilateral cooperation. The importance of building professional networks and exchanging experiences among young experts interested in public service and international relations was emphasized.

The Forum of Young Diplomats is a nationwide non-governmental organization that brings together students, young professionals, and individuals interested in foreign policy and diplomatic service. Its aim is to develop the competencies of future diplomats through debates, training, and hands-on experience in international relations.
