Poland in Qatar

 

 

On 5 November 2025, Ambassador Tomasz Sądziński visited Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and was received by Professor Ahmad Hasnah, the Rector of the university.

The discussion focused on Polish-Qatari cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as on ways to strengthen ties between HBKU and Polish universities, with particular emphasis on academic exchange, joint publications, and the implementation of research projects. The parties also considered the possibility of organizing joint events with the participation of the Embassy. The Rector emphasized HBKU’s openness to cooperation in international relations research, including within the framework of analyses conducted by the Global Institute for Strategic Research.

HBKU was established in 2010 under the Qatar Foundation. Currently, the university has around 1,200 students.
