We welcome the fact that both Hamas and Israel approved and signed the first phase of the peace deal. We acknowledge the crucial role that President Donald Trump played in bringing both parties to the negotiating table.

We hope that the planned actions will actually result in the release of all Israeli captives and put an end to hostilities and humanitarian crisis.

We trust that this historic step unlocks the door to a lasting resolution of the conflict, ultimately leading to peace and the adoption of the two-state solution—for the sake of the entire region’s population.
