Poland in Qatar

On the occasion of the National Day of 3 May, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha extends its best wishes of prosperity, security and unity to all Polish citizens in Qatar, as well as to their families and loved ones.

May the values of freedom, solidarity and responsibility, which have formed the foundation of the Polish state since 1791, remain a source of strength and continue to reinforce our community in Qatar.

Today, we mark the 235th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May. It was the first modern constitution in Europe and the second in the world, introducing systemic reforms in the spirit of the Enlightenment, strengthening the state and civil rights.

Adopted in 1791, at a time of considerable challenges for the country, the Constitution remains a symbol of political maturity and the courage of reformers who sought to secure the nation’s future through dialogue, freedom of religion, and respect for the rule of law and the common good.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha proudly commemorates this anniversary, paying tribute to the authors of the Constitution of 3 May and to all those who, throughout history, have contributed to a strong, democratic and sovereign Poland. May it continue to serve as a lasting source of inspiration and national pride.
