31.03.2022On 31st March ambassador J. Janke attended a meeting with Mr. Khalifa Jassim Al Kuwari, CEO of the Qatar Development Fund (QFFD). The purpose of the meeting was to provide the interlocutor with up-to-date information on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, actions taken by Poland to assist Ukrainian refugees, and an assessment of the effects of Russian aggression.

23.03.2022On March 23, a meeting took place between ambassador Janusz Janke and Ahmad Al Hammadi, secretary general at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Qatari side was presented with the Polish assessment of the situation in Ukraine, the scope of support undertaken for the benefit of Ukrainian refugees, Poland's position on aggression and actions taken by the Polish government to support Ukrainian authorities and the civilian population, also on the international organizations arena.

14.03.2022In 2022, AgriteQ returned for its 9th edition from 10 to 14 March at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) to highlight innovation in agricultural techniques, and pinpoint the road map to achieve food security and sustainable development https://agriteq.com/en/agriteq-home/. As in the previous year, the Embassy organized a stand which enabled Polish companies to present their products. In cooperation with the Polish-Qatar Business Council, an invitation was sent out to Polish companies representing the agri-food sector. 12 companies applied to participate in the fairs. However, due to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, many companies were prevented from being able to participate in the event. Only Acerbipharma and Krupiec (local representative of the company) visited Doha this year. Some companies such as Mzuri, Nestor, Vet Vagro delivered their promotional materials (brochures, catalogues, samples) to the stand.
