Poland in Qatar

Representatives of the Polish Ministry of Finance and the Polish Bank Association participated in the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha.

The Polish delegation was headed by Paweł Siwek, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Finance. The delegation also included Arkadiusz Lewicki, Director of the Public Programmes and Business Environment Team at the Polish Bank Association.

The delegation’s visit to Qatar also provided an opportunity to discuss Polish-Qatari financial and investment cooperation. The programme included meetings at the Qatar Investment Authority, Qatar Development Bank and Lesha Bank. The delegation also attended a dinner hosted by the Embassy, bringing together representatives of the Polish community in Qatar working in the financial sector.
