Poland in Qatar

On 4th March Tomasz Sadziński, head of the diplomatic mission in Doha, met with the Minister of Transport of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani.

The discussion concerned the further development of maritime infrastructure investments, as well as increasing the number of air connections to Poland due to the growing interest in Poland as a tourist destination in the Gulf countries. The meeting served as an opportunity to present the priorities of the Polish presidency to the interlocutor and to invite him to the international New Mobility Congress in Katowice in 2025. One of the issues that was also raised was the prospect of cooperation in the field of innovative technologies in rail transportation.
