Polsko-katarska współpraca w sektorze transportu morskiego

On 21 August 2025, Ambassador Tomasz Sadziński held a meeting with Marco Neelsen, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of QTerminals Group, Qatar’s port operator.

The discussions focused on identifying opportunities for the development of Polish-Qatari economic cooperation in the field of maritime transport, including the implementation of the deepwater terminal project in Świnoujście, currently being developed by a consortium that includes the Qatari company alongside Belgium’s Deme Concessions. The two sides also exchanged views on prospects for regional economic growth and the development plans for Hamad Port in Doha.
