Poland in Qatar

On 29 June, Ambassador Tomasz Sadzinski participated in a meeting on Polish–Qatari cooperation in the agri-food sector and food security.

The meeting was hosted by Magdalena Żelazna, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland.

During the meeting, Simon Alexander, Head of Operations at Lulu Qatar, presented the strategy for expanding the presence of Lulu Group in the Polish market. The strategy is centred on the company’s logistics hub near Łódź, which serves as a sourcing and distribution centre for Polish food products destined for the Gulf markets.

The discussion was also attended by Grzegorz Sobczyński, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Markets and Energy at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Piotr Kondraciuk, Director of the Export Support Department at the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR).
