Poland in Qatar

The Polish side was represented by Mikołaj Raczyński, CEO of the PFR Group, and Rozalia Urbanek, CEO of PFR Ventures. QIA was represented by Mubarak Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Head of Europe & North America – Strategic Partnerships, and Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Sayed, Director of Strategic Partnerships.

Opening the meeting, Ambassador Tomasz Sadziński highlighted the dynamic growth of the Polish economy and the resulting investment needs, encouraging the Qatari participants to establish working relations with Polish partners in the financial and investment sector. Mikołaj Raczyński then presented PFR’s priorities, its investment instruments and opportunities in sectors including energy, infrastructure, technology, defence, healthcare and the digital economy. The Qatari side outlined its preferred investment areas and sectors, as well as its approach to asset allocation. The discussion also covered the potential role of PFR in identifying attractive investment projects in Poland. The parties agreed to continue working-level contacts.
