Poland in Qatar

On 14 January, Ambassador Tomasz Sadziński met with Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, Director of the Government Communications Office of the State of Qatar. The main topic of the meeting was the planned participation of the Polish delegation in the 3rd edition of Web Summit Qatar, scheduled to take place on 1–4 February this year.

During the talks, the Head of the Polish diplomatic mission presented information on the planned presence of Polish institutions and business representatives at the event, which is currently the largest international platform in Qatar for dialogue between government institutions, business, and technology startups. This year’s edition may attract as many as 30,000 participants, including several dozen from Poland. For the first time in history, the participation of a Polish government delegation is also planned.
