On 21st May 21st, at the initiative of the head of the mission, Tomasz Sadziński, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the headquarters of the Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA) in Doha regarding its cooperation with the Council of Polish Global Entrepreneurs (RPPG), which brings together several major Polish economic entities that are very active in foreign markets—both in trade and investment. On the Polish side, the document was signed by Michał Broniewicz, Vice President of the Board, and on the Qatari side by Sheikh Nawaf bin Nasser Al Thani, a member of the  Board of the association.

The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences related to Polish-Qatari economic cooperation. The head of the Polish diplomatic mission thanked the Qatari partners for their ongoing openness to collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha, including their participation in the Qatari business mission that accompanied the visit of His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to Poland in July 2024. He stated that the signing of the MoU aligns with the understandings reached by the leaders of both countries and expressed hope for the swift commencement of practical cooperation between the two organizations. Sheikh Nawaf confirmed QBA’s readiness to cooperate with Polish companies, noting the growing importance of Poland and its economy within the European Union. He invited Polish companies to collaborate with the association, which is seeking investment and technology partners.

QBA was established in 2002 based on a ministerial decree and is an apolitical, non-governmental, non-profit organization.
