Poland in Qatar

On January 28, at the invitation of Tomasz Sadziński, head of mission, Szczepan Mazur, a successful Polish jockey who has been participating in the most important horse competitions organized on Qatari racetracks, paid a visit to the embassy. The aim of the meeting was to congratulate the guest on his successes: in the competition organized on January 18 under the patronage of Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, horses ridden by Mr. Szczepan Mazur won 4 races. The main prize was presented to the winner by Sheikh Hamad bin Joaan Al Thani.

During the meeting, the specific nature of this sport in Qatar was discussed, as well as the possibilities of intensifying Polish-Qatari cooperation in this area.
