Poland in Qatar

On 20^th May the Embassy organized a visit of the Polish business mission to the new headquarters of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Opening the meeting, Tomasz Sadziński, head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Qatar, expressed gratitude for the Chamber’s long-standing commitment to developing Polish-Qatari economic relations, including the participation of its leadership in the Polish-Qatari Forum on New Technologies, which accompanied the visit of His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to Poland in July 2024.

The host of the meeting was Rashid bin Hamad Al Athba, Second Vice President of the organization, which brings together all enterprises operating in Qatar under national law. He emphasized the growing interest of Qatari companies in Poland, Polish technologies, and the priority that attracting foreign investors—particularly in the areas of industry and modern technologies—holds for the Qatari authorities and economic self-government organizations.

The meeting provided an opportunity to showcase Polish companies that had come to Qatar to participate in the 5^th edition of the Qatar Economic Forum. These companies represented sectors such as energy (including energy transition), IT, consulting, and maritime industries.
