Visit to Lusail International Circuit
30.10.2025
On October 30, Ambassador Tomasz Sądziński met with Abdulrahman Al Mannai, President of the Lusail International Circuit. The discussion covered the institution’s current priorities, its future development plans, and the identification of potential areas of cooperation with partners in Poland.
The head of the Polish diplomatic mission emphasized the great popularity of motor sports in Poland, particularly disciplines such as speedway and car rallies, recalling that the Rally Poland is the third oldest event of its kind in the world, with its first edition taking place in 1921. He noted that Polish fans are increasingly interested in events such as the Formula 1 races held in Qatar or the 24-hour Le Mans series. He especially highlighted that in 2023, for the first time in history, a Polish driver—Robert Kubica, together with the AF Corse team—won the general classification of Le Mans.
The host thanked the ambassador for the congratulations and expressed hope for further cooperation in the field of motor sports, as well as for the growing interest of Polish fans in events organized at the circuit.
