A meeting with the Polish young professionals at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm

On 2 April 2025, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm, Polish experts working in Sweden – representatives of the WAZA organisation and the Polish IT Pros Stockholm group – met with Mr. Jurand Drop, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Poland, at the invitation of the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Sweden, Mrs. Karolina Ostrzyniewska.
During the meeting, participants discussed current economic and trade challenges as well as prospects for developing Polish-Swedish cooperation in the areas of finance and business. They also pointed out the difficulties faced by Polish companies operating in the Swedish market, including local barriers to market access.
The meeting was also an opportunity to present the Poland. Business Adventure scholarship program, aimed at individuals aged 18–35 who are of Polish origin or have a particular interest in Poland. The program offers the opportunity to complete a three-month internship in selected Polish companies – including state-owned enterprises or Polish branches of international firms.
