Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Przydacz, together with MPs Jan Dziedziczak and Tomasz Głogowski visited Stockholm to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership.

On November 5-6, 2019 the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Swedish parliament (Riksdag) organized a series of conferences and seminars on cooperation within the Eastern Partnership. The EaP countries and Poland were invited to participate in these events.

On the first day, the Polish delegation participated in the seminar “A new political vision for the EaP ?”. The conference, in which Marcin Przydacz, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was one of the panelists, took place at the European Commission Representation in Stockholm. In the afternoon a debate was held in the Swedish parliament with the participation of parliamentarians from Sweden, Poland and the EaP countries. In the discussion "The role of Parliaments and parliamentarians, dialogue and pluralism in a democracy. Shaping the agenda for the EaP "Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Przydacz said "In these difficult times, we need a common vision and strategy for the PW and a joint action plan. Poland has a concrete proposal for the future of EU relations with the EaP countries." After the conference in the Riksdag Polish delegation met with the Secretary of State in the Swedish Chancellery of the Prime Minister Karin Walensteen. On 6th November, the Polish delegation participated in the conference “Development Talks: A New Deal for the EaP - Putting People First!” at the Swedish agency for development assistance SIDA. Marcin Przydacz, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was also a panelist during this seminar. After this conference Polish delegation met with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko, the Swedish Secretary of State Per Olsson Fridh and the SIDA General Director Carin Jämtin.
