Lunch lecture at the Stockholm School of Economics

On 25 February, Ambassador Karolina Ostrzyniewska visited the Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan) to meet with students interested in careers in diplomacy and current bilateral relations between Poland and Sweden. The lunch lecture brought together nearly 50 participants representing various fields of study at SSE. The event was organised as part of International Week (February 23-27) at the invitation of the student association SASSE.
Ambassador Ostrzyniewska shared up-to-date information on the functioning of the Polish diplomatic service, with particular focus on reforms and innovations implemented in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Topics also included current Polish-Swedish relations and deepened bilateral ties, confirmed by the signing of the Strategic Partnership between Poland and Sweden in Harpsund in November 2024, as well as the planned official visit of the Their Royal Highnesses to Poland on 10–12 March.
During the lecture, Ambassador Ostrzyniewska also explained the functioning of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm and the day-to-day work of a diplomat. Students actively engaged in the discussion, asking questions about current geopolitical developments as well as the challenges and specifics of working in diplomacy.
